A&E Specification

EIA compliant 19” wall mount rack shall be Hammond Manufacturing, HWM Series, part number HWM24__U____BK (refer to table). Overall dimensions shall be 24.68” W x __” H x __” D (refer to table). Weight capacity shall be UL2416 rated for 350 lbs. Removable center and spring-latch system provides one-person installation. Usable depth shall be __” (refer to table). Center section shall be 16-gauge steel, phosphate pre-treated and finished in a black sand-textured powder coat paint. Rear wall mount section shall be 14-gauge steel, phosphate pre-treated and finished in a black sand-textured powder coat paint. Mounting rails shall be constructed of 12-gauge steel with tapped 10-32 mounting holes in universal EIA spacing finished in a smooth black powder coat paint. Rack cabinet shall be constructed to swing open for component cabling access, center section shall pivot for either left or right opening. Top and bottom of rear wall mount section shall include conduit compatible knockouts of 1-1/8”, 1-3/8”, 2” and 3”. Sides of rear wall mount section shall include conduit compatible knockouts of 2” and 2-1/2”.  Large laser knockout on back pan shall have a 16” x 12” cut out for electrical pull-box. Fan knockouts on top and bottom of the center section, shall allow for installation of up to four (4) 4-1/2” fans. Sides of center section shall feature fan grill and may include additional vent patterns. Center section shall include side fan grills that allow for installation of up to six (6) 4-1/2” fans. Rack shall be UL Listed in the US and Canada to the UL-2416 (NWIN) Category. Rack cabinet shall meet all enclosure requirements towards PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Compliance. Rack shall comply with the requirements RoHS EU Directive 2011/65/EU. Rack shall be manufactured by an ISO 9001 registered company. Rack shall be warrantied to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of one (1) year after ship date.
