• Ergonomically designed to comfortably fit in the user's hand.
• Both the display and keyboard areas are recessed for membrane devices, perfect for instrument or mobile data enclosures requiring a keypad and display.
• Two sizes available with or without battery door and in black or light grey plastic.
• Handheld section of enclosure includes a dark grey TPE overmold for a soft grip.
• Molded from flame retardant ABS plastic with UL flammability rating of 94V-0.
• Enclosure is assembled with M3-0.5 x 18mm Philips head machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings. Ideal for repetitive assembly and disassembly.
• Integral brass bushings are factory inserted into top half of the enclosure.
• PC board standoffs are molded into the case top and bottom halves.
• Contains either one or two end panels depending on version, which are removable for easy modification.
• Lap joint construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water. Versions without a battery door are designed to meet IP54 ratings.
• Battery door and compartment version (part numbers ending in "BAT") includes:
  • 1553TT "BAT" versions - 4x battery clips (for 2x AA batteries) and 1x 9 volt (PP3) battery clip.
  • 1553T "BAT" versions - 8x battery clips (for 4x AA batteries) and 2x 9 volt (PP3) battery clips.
