Caractéristiques

  • Primaire double 117/234 V c.a., 50/60 Hz
  • Note : Les transformateurs sont conçus de manière que tous les enroulements soient utilisés (qu’ils soient raccordés en série ou en parallèle) ou raccordés pour fonctionner comme des autotransformateurs. Fiche technique pour le raccordement fournie avec le transformateur. Voir Documentation à télécharger sur les produits.
  • Fourni avec deux plaquettes isolantes en caoutchouc néoprène, une rondelle de centrage métallique et toute la quincaillerie d’assemblage nécessaire (sauf le modèle de 1 500 VA).
  • Le modèle de 1 500 VA comporte un centre enrobé pour plus de résistance.
  • Conducteurs flexibles d’au moins 8 po de longueur.
  • Fait de matériaux de classe B (130 º C).
  • Essai diélectrique à 4000 V c.a. RMS entre le primaire et le secondaire.
  • Conforme à la norme UL 506 (Guide XPTQ2) no E207860
  • Conforme à la norme CSA C22.2 no 66 - fichier 209651
  • Conforme à la norme CEIC 61558-2-4 selon la CE
  • Cette série remplace l’ancienne série de transformateurs toriques 182.
  • Note sur le courant d’appel : 
    En raison de leurs propriétés magnétiques supérieures, les transformateurs toroïdaux sont vulnérables au fort courant de magnétisation lorsqu’ils sont mis sous tension pour la première fois, ce courant n’étant limité que par la faible résistance c.c. de l’enroulement primaire. Le risque de surcharge du circuit d’alimentation dépend de l’étape du cycle c.a. au moment de la mise sous tension du transformateur. C’est pourquoi la mise sous tension du transformateur peut parfois se faire sans problème et à d’autres moments griller un fusible ou déclencher le disjoncteur. Cette surcharge dure rarement plus de la moitié d’un cycle. Vous devriez donc envisager l’utilisation sur le circuit d’alimentation d’un fusible à fusion lente, d’un disjoncteur à déclenchement temporisé ou d’un autre type de dispositif permettant un démarrage progressif lorsque vous utilisez ces transformateurs toroïdaux à haut rendement.
