BigCommerce
You can automate inventory management using third-party apps and integration partners available in the BigCommerce App Marketplace. These tools can help streamline and automate inventory management across all sales channels. We found StockSync that looks like a good option. https://www.bigcommerce.com/apps/stock-sync/

Shopify
To automate inventory updates from a CSV file in Shopify, you can use an app like Stock Sync - Inventory Update. This app allows you to import product and inventory data from various sources, including Google Sheets, Excel, or other feeds, and automate the updates to your Shopify store.
Here's a general approach to setting it up:
- Install Stock Sync
: Go to the Shopify App Store and install the Stock Sync app.
- Configure Data Source
: Set up your data source, such as a Google Sheet or an FTP server, where your CSV file is stored.
- Map Fields
: Map the fields in your CSV file to the corresponding fields in Shopify to ensure the data is imported correctly.
- Schedule Updates
: Set up a schedule for how often you want the inventory updates to occur, such as daily or weekly.
- Enable Automation
: Enable the automation to allow Stock Sync to update your inventory automatically based on the schedule you set.
This setup will help you keep your inventory levels up-to-date without manual intervention.
